The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially commenced the nationwide Physical Revision of Voter’s Cards (PVCs) from Monday, August 25, 2025.
The exercise provides an opportunity for eligible Nigerians to register as new voters, correct or update their personal details, replace lost or damaged PVCs, or transfer their registration to their current place of residence.
Hon. Olumide Yakub Alli (OYA), in a message to his constituents, described the exercise as a golden opportunity for citizens to strengthen democracy through active participation.
“Your PVC is your voice, power, and civic responsibility. Without it, you cannot decide the future of your community, state, or nation,” he emphasized.
Hon. Alli appealed particularly to youths, adults, and first-time voters not to delay but to visit the nearest INEC registration centers in their localities.
He reiterated the importance of civic responsibility with a reminder:
“No PVC, No Vote. Let’s all participate actively in shaping the future we desire.”
