Hon. Olumide Yakub Alli, a hopeful for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and across the world on the joyous occasion of Eid-El-Maulid, the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
In his message, Hon. Alli urged Muslims to imbibe the virtues of love, compassion, humility and peaceful coexistence exemplified by the Prophet, noting that these values remain essential to national unity and progress.
He said: “As we celebrate this significant day, may we be reminded of the Prophet’s timeless teachings of tolerance, justice and devotion to God. Let us draw inspiration from his life to build stronger communities and a better nation for generations to come.”
While calling for prayers for Nigeria’s peace, prosperity and leadership, Hon. Alli also enjoined constituents of Akinyele/Lagelu to remain steadfast in their support for one another, stressing that only through unity can the constituency and the country at large achieve meaningful development.
He wished all Muslims a peaceful and joyous celebration.
