Shepherd Freight Cargo Services, the award-winning logistics company recently crowned Cargo Company of the Year at the Lagos-Ikeja City Award 2025, has officially opened a new branch office in Ibadan, southwest Nigeria.
The company, with over three decades of operations, is renowned for delivering food items such as proteins, grains, spices, and personal effects including clothing, souvenirs, decorative items, and utensils across the United Kingdom from Nigeria and vice versa.
Speaking at the launch, the Operation Manager, Mr. Adebakin Olaseni, expressed his excitement at the company’s continued growth within the industry. “In May this year, we received the award as Cargo Company of the Year, which is a testament to the world-class service delivery we provide. This new branch further reflects our expansion drive and customer-first approach,” he said.
The new Bodija branch was dedicated and declared open by Pastor and Pastor (Mrs.) Akinade Sunmonu of RCCG Kings Way Parish, Oluyole Estate, Ibadan.
Also addressing the gathering, the company’s brand consultant, Mr. Fourthman Kehinde Amos, explained that the location was strategically chosen to meet the yearnings of customers in the southwest.
“Being at the heart of Bodija market positions us closer to our clients. Our goal is to be the most referred cargo brand in this city and beyond. With other offices at Transformation Stores, Olusoji Junction, Adjacent Elebu Junction in Ibadan, and at Mafoluku by the Local Airport in Lagos, our network is expanding rapidly.
