The monthly meeting of OYA Vision, a group within the Oyo State All Progressives Congress (APC) championing the political aspirations of Hon. Olumide Yakub Alli in Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, held on Tuesday with renewed energy as members welcomed the former Chairman of Akinyele South Local Government back into the fold.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Olumide Yakub Alli commended members for their loyalty and resilience, noting their commitment to the party despite not holding power at the state level. He urged greater participation in party activities across zones, wards, and local governments, stressing that unity and grassroots mobilisation remain crucial for success.
Discussions at the meeting centred on voter sensitisation, party cohesion, and collective action ahead of 2027 political contests.
The event also marked the entry of new political stakeholders from both Akinyele and Lagelu local governments, further strengthening the group’s influence within the constituency.
With his House of Representatives ambition for 2027 gathering momentum, Hon. Yakub Alli continues to attract grassroots support and widen his political base.
